Joy 96.5 is a dynamic Christian ministry that brings the hope and joy of Christ to countless listeners in the Fredericton NB area and around the globe. It is family-friendly and positive radio, available on FM and streaming outlets, with music, spoken-word, and local DJ programing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership of the station including strategy development, communication with the board of directors, and supervising staff
- Responsible for financial budgeting and forecasting
- Oversee sales, marketing, and sales-support for radio advertising
- Lead fund-raising through organizing on-air and other donor campaigns
- As part of a faith-based team, this position will interact with listeners, employees, DJs, volunteers, supporters, clients, churches, and the board of directors
Qualifications:
- Five years of managerial experience
- Bachelor-level degree or additional years of managerial background
- Sales experience
- A heart for ministry serving Jesus Christ and a commitment to Joy 96.5’s statement of faith is required
