Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, other designated spaces and apartments. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are upheld. Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and professionalism are valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and perform surface cleaning of floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Follow safety protocols and health guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Experience with industrial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is a plus but not required
