Eyemaxx Optical Studio is an independent, locally-owned and operated eyewear boutique located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. We strive to be a leader and preferred provider of quality optical care products and services. We offer a coveted location with consistent walk-in traffic, fully booked optometrist schedules, and an amazing customer service team.
We are currently looking for a Licensed Optician who is dedicated to customer service, has excellent communication skills, and is technically competent. Lab experience is a bonus but not required.
Major duties and responsibilities include:
- Excellent customer service
- Assist clients in selecting frames and lenses appropriate for their prescription and lifestyle
- Handles tasks, such as taking and recording measurements, adjusting or fitting eyewear carefully and correctly, is thorough and exact in details
- Ensures finished eyewear meets optical standards
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues
- May provide optical lab support
- Be a team player
- Maintains cleanliness of store and displays
Education/Qualification requirements:
- Hold a valid Optician's License in the province of Ontario
- Certified Contact Lens Fitter (CCLF) or be willing to apply
Availability:
- Must be flexible and able to work days, evenings and weekends

- Salary is based on education, qualification and experience
