Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to a clean and organized kitchen. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and packaging.
- Support food handling and storage procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Help with basic cooking tasks as directed, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure the kitchen area remains organized, sanitized, and free of hazards throughout shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is beneficial
