About the Role
You see a coffee bar and think story, not just product. You build the visual world of BYND across social and events — capturing the shift from morning ritual to late-night energy, producing content that feels lived-in rather than branded. You understand platforms as places, not channels, and you know the difference between a moment worth sharing and one that just fills a grid.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the visual identity of BYND across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Capture and produce photo and video content that reflects every hour of the BYND experience — from the 7am espresso to the 10pm nightcap
- Attend events and key moments on-site to document and create real-time content
- Develop a content calendar aligned with the rhythms of the bar and season
- Concept and execute campaigns that feel lived-in, not branded
- Understand platform-specific formats and optimize content accordingly
What We're Looking For
- A strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling across social media
- Experience shooting and editing photo and video content (ideally in hospitality, food, or lifestyle)
- A deep understanding of social platforms as places, not just channels
- Someone who can tell the difference between a moment worth sharing and one that just fills a grid
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently with minimal brief
- Based in Toronto with flexibility to be on-site across various hours and events

Engagement Type: Part-time / Contract
