Duties
- Provide thorough medical assessments and diagnoses for patients across all age groups, including pediatrics and adult care
- Manage acute care cases, including urgent illnesses and injuries, ensuring timely and effective treatment
- Administer medications and oversee medication management plans in accordance with best practices and patient needs
- Conduct patient-centered procedures such as pain management interventions and home care visits when necessary
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
- Collect data for clinical research projects aimed at improving treatment protocols and patient outcomes
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans, emphasizing preventive medicine and chronic disease management
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice as a Family Physician
- Proven hospital experience with a strong background in acute care settings
- Hands-on experience in pain management techniques and pediatric patient care
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, and medical office operations
- Experience using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and data collection
- Knowledge of home care practices and the ability to perform home visits when required
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their health conditions and treatment options
