Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
- Manage patient records accurately within the dental management software.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures to ensure clear communication.
- Assist in the fabrication of dental appliances and models as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required; additional experience in dental receptionist duties is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children.

Pay: $20.52-$34.43 per hour
