Job Duties and Responsibilities
As an Electrician, you will:
- Perform a full range of assignments including new installations, maintenance and repair to existing wiring, electrical systems, and electrical components.
- Follow daily line-ups, safety procedures, and Ontario Regulation 854 Mines and Mining Plants.
- Support construction projects through reliable equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include:
- 309A Electrical License is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of underground mining experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Underground Common Core modules (U0000, U0001, U0002, U0012).
- Experience working in an underground mine.
Compensation
The compensation range for the position is competitive and based on experience. Hourly base wages are to be between $20.00 to $30.00 CAD + hourly incentive bonus.
