Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems, including 2 boilers and electrical components.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee the fabrication of necessary components for repairs or upgrades as needed.
- Manage the troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, including schematics and service records.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities that support operational goals.
- Train staff on best practices for maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficient in electrical systems, particularly low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or modifications.
