Job Summary
We are currently hiring a skilled Metal Grinder / Polisher to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals with experience in metal finishing and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform grinding, polishing, and surface finishing of metal components to achieve
- high-quality standards.
- Clean and finish welded assemblies by removing burrs, weld spatter, and
- surface imperfections.
- Operate hand-held grinders, buffers, and polishing equipment safely and
- efficiently while following safety procedures.
- Prepare metal surfaces for final finishing by smoothing edges and ensuring a
- uniform surface.
- Inspect complete components to verify quality, consistency, and compliance with
- production specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal grinding, polishing, or surface finishing.
- Proficient in the use of hand-held grinders, buffers, and polishing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality requirements.
- Comfortable to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with stainless steel polishing is considered a strong asset.
What We Offer
- Competitive starting wage of $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
