Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling units.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs.
- Execute basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while on the job site.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Proficient in HVAC systems integration and maintenance.
- Experience in construction techniques relevant to plumbing installations.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their proper usage in plumbing work.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for project execution.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations.
- Knowledge of welding techniques applicable to plumbing tasks.
- Capability for heavy lifting as necessary during installations or repairs.
