Overview
We are seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental team, and ensure smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment utilizing advanced dental technology and fostering professional growth. The successful applicant will have a strong background in dental assisting, with strong surgical skills. Proficiency in dental software such as Maxident, along with knowledge of medical terminology highly desirable. This position is paid and suitable for licensed level II dental assistants in B.C committed to delivering high-quality dental care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including resto, endo, invisalign, crown prep, implants, gum graft, bone graft, etc.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Take images with digital sensor, panoramic and CBCT
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Maxident
- Provide patient education on oral health practices and post-treatment care
- Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively as a dental receptionist when needed
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations if needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Experience
- Valid licensure as a level II Dental Assistant in B.C is required
- Atleast one year experience required
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Maxident an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Experience working with 3 shape IO scanner highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control standards, and patient care best practices

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
