We operate in Canada and the U.S. and run everything on QuickBooks Online, Notion, Stripe, and Go High Level.
We’re building a real finance machine: a Group CFO at the top (Lucrum) with a strong Accountant managing the finances and maintaining accurate and timely financial data and compiling management reports weekly, monthly and quarterly and annually to assist management with the growth and expansion of the group and overseeing the bookkeeping functions.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for overseeing the Finance Division; Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Payroll, Inventory, Taxation and all financial reporting and will be the main point of contact for our CPA and Tax Preparer.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Daily / Weekly / Monthly
- Monitor and oversee all bookkeeping to ensure that all records are current, accurate and recorded optimally.
- All reconciliations performed timely and reviewed by you for accuracy
- Daily and Weekly Cash Management and oversight of the collections process
- Monitoring and reporting profitability on a project basis and overall entity basis and reporting on same.
- Ensuring all payroll and contractor AP complies with current compensation agreements and is paid timely and accurately.
- Prepare financial reports for the management team

Key Responsibilities
Systems & Process
- Management of reserve accounts to ensure company policies with regards to reserves are maintained
- Ensure compliance with existing SOPs for bookkeeping, and help improve them over time
- Work closely with the CFO to hit tight monthly close deadlines
- Optimize the banking and payments structure for simplicity
- Managing Company credit facilities with key suppliers, banks and other financial partners to maximize our purchasing ability and payment terms
Tools You Must Be Strong In
- QuickBooks Online (non-negotiable, expert level)
- Notion (understanding of this system or similar type systems will be highly beneficial)
- Go High Level (GHL) or similar CRM/payment systems
- Stripe (understanding payouts, fees, disputes, refunds, and subscriptions)
- Google Suite of software
- Slack
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 3+ years hands-on accounting experience in Canada
- Mastery of QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Very high attention to detail (you hate “close enough”)
- Able to follow SOPs exactly, but also spot and suggest improvements
Nice to Have (Bonus)
- Experience with Go High Level specifically
- Experience with Notion specifically
- Experience with multi-entity or holding company structures
- Experience in: Home services / construction / solar, Online education, coaching, or high-ticket programs
Success Metrics (How We’ll Know You’re Winning)
- Financial reports must be accurate and timely for the CFO.
- Financial records optimized and valuable in setting the growth and profitability path for the group
- Collections and Payments terms followed with happy employees and contractors
- Clear, proactive communication when something is missing, off, or delayed
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), long-term
- Location: Victoria office
- Schedule: 8am-5pm
- Salary: $70,000-$80,000
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
