Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems in a plastics processing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be skilled in maintaining, analyzing, and repairing plastics processing machinery, and equipment. As a Millwright, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility and maintenance tasks on various systems.

Responsibilities
- Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs with minimal downtime.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance routines.
- Work with vacuum and pressure material transfer systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Use precision tools and instruments to ensure equipment performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Collaborate with electricians, production staff, and engineers.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow company protocols.
- Follow all safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
- Utilize Maintenance program (SAP) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Valid Industrial Millwright License.
- Criminal record check is required.
- Millwright experience in an industrial/manufacturing/processing environment.
- Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and technical skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding, fabrication and machining.
- Able to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- On call rotation is required.
- Over time.
