We are looking for a skilled and motivated truck mechanic to join our team full time. You'll work on a wide variety of commercial trucks, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and ensuring every truck meets our quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical inspections on incoming commercial trucks.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, suspension, steering, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance and required repairs.
- Perform safety inspections and identify any deficiencies.
- Accurately document repairs and inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work closely with the sales teams to ensure trucks are prepared for resale.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Truck Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience working on diesel engines and commercial vehicles.
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence (higher class is considered an asset).
- Certification is considered an asset. However, experienced apprentices and equivalent industry experience are encouraged to apply.
