Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting a high-quality hospitality experience.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and supporting kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors , Garbages, Cardboard.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to food service and sanitation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting
- Basic understanding of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
