We are seeking an Intermediate Estimator/Project Manager with hands-on experience in geotechnical grouting and/or specialty foundations.
Role Responsibilities
- Review plans, specifications, and geotechnical data to prepare complete estimates.
- Work closely with clients to refine scope and develop solution-driven proposals.
- Manage awarded projects from kickoff to closeout, including cost tracking and schedule management.
- Support business development by attending client meetings, presenting solutions, and developing strong technical proposals.
- Assist with reviewing project documents, including drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
- Support estimating activities: quantity takeoffs, pricing models, and scope definition.
- Participate in client calls and preliminary discussions to learn scope development.
- Support project coordination, scheduling updates, and procurement tasks.
- Prepare field packages, QA/QC documentation, and kickoff meetings.
- Contribute to internal process improvement within the operating framework.
Experience & Education
- 3+ years experience in geotechnical grouting, ground improvement, or specialty foundations within our market areas (Canadian).
- Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and assess risks.
Strong field and estimating experience with proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Construction Engineering Degree or Diploma.
- Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; AutoCAD exposure an asset.
- Experience in geotechnical grouting, ground improvement, or displacement piling considered an asset
- Previous EBS Co-op experience is considered an asset.
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
