- Perform maintenance, repairs, installations, and testing of manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide technical support to production teams.
- Complete preventive maintenance (PM) inspections and maintenance programs.
- Repair, rebuild, and optimize production machinery to improve productivity.
- Fabricate parts and components to support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate equipment such as lathes, welders, plasma cutters, and torches for maintenance and fabrication work.
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance and support external contractors when required.
- Follow all company quality, health and safety policies, and complete other duties as assigned.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
- Trade certification (or equivalent) and a strong commitment to Health & Safety with the ability to follow safe work practices at all times.
- Experience with industrial equipment, including sensors, pneumatic systems, compressors, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including preventative maintenance planning and machine optimization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
TO MAKE SURE NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN
- Permanent, full-time position
- Starting wage: $32.00/hour
- 40 hours per week on a rotating 6-week shift schedule
During the initial training period, you will work on straight day shifts for several months before transitioning to the regular rotation.
Shift Rotation:
- 2 weeks Days
- 2 weeks Afternoons
- 2 weeks Nights
Shift Hours:
- Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Night Shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Additional Benefits:
- $500 annual tool allowance (ownership of basic hand tools)
