Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask efficiently. As a key member of our team, you’ll provide vital administrative support to the medical staff, assisting with patient check-ins, record keeping, appointment scheduling, and supporting doctors with their daily schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring an efficient and welcoming experience.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain doctor’s daily calendar.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Assist with phone calls, filing, and general office organization.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is required.
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant course is preferred.
- Proficiency with office technologies, including scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
