Job Description:
Muskoka On The Rocks is looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Host/Hostess & Busser to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests while also helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is always ready to support the team where needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome guests and create a positive first impression
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements
- Maintain waitlists and communicate table flow with staff
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently
- Assist servers with food, drinks, and guest requests when needed
- Keep the front entrance, dining area, and stations clean and organized
- Help ensure smooth and efficient service throughout each shift
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience is considered an asset
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Smart Serve Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues diplomatically
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Attention to cleanliness and organization
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
