Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with product selection, including equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems for efficient checkout processes, including cash handling and transaction processing
- Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques to attract customer attention
- Support back shop operations by stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and preparing products for sale or repair
- Assist with technical sales by explaining product specifications and offering upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, maintaining clear communication at all times
Skills
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments with a focus on technical products or sports equipment
