We are seeking a dedicated ESL and IELTS Tutor to support students in achieving their language proficiency goals. Duties
- Speaking fluently English and Chinese Mandarin
- Develop customized lesson plans that address students’ specific language learning needs and goals
- Prepare students for IELTS exams through practice tests, strategies, and skill-building exercises
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement
- Incorporate writing skills development into lessons, focusing on clarity, coherence, and accuracy
- Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that fosters student confidence
- Track attendance, participation, and performance data to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Stay updated on the latest ESL teaching methodologies and IELTS exam formats to enhance instructional quality
Experience
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience, particularly in ESL or IELTS preparation, is highly desirable
- Classroom teaching experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse learner needs
- Strong writing skills to assist students in developing their written English proficiency
- Proven ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to different learning styles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying ages and backgrounds
