Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Person for our multi-tenant commercial property in Riverview, NB. The ideal candidate – an experienced ‘jack’ or ‘jill’ of all trades - will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. From janitorial, basic repairs and maintenance to troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, this individual will be responsible for operation and upkeep of our facilities and play a critical role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for our tenants and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Perform daily janitorial, repairs and maintenance duties.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Conduct routine landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including lawn mowing.
- Assist with maintenance and operational tasks relating to restaurant and cafe operations on-site.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors when needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance, construction or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of basic repair and maintenance techniques.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle various tasks, including heavy lifting.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean criminal record check.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
