Phoenix Industrial is currently hiring a General Labourer to join our team at our modyard. This position is ideal for a hardworking, dependable individual who takes pride in keeping a worksite clean, organized, and safe.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleanup and housekeeping throughout the modyard
- Complete site cleanup, including removing debris, materials, and other waste
- Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance, including grass, weeds, trees, and general yard upkeep
- Collect, sort, and dispose of garbage and waste materials
- Keep work areas, storage areas, walkways, and common areas clean and organized
- Assist with organizing and maintaining materials, equipment, tools, and supplies around the modyard
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials as required
- Assist other yard and operations personnel with general labour tasks
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or housekeeping concerns
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
- Perform other general labour duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous general labour, yard, construction, or industrial experience is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Physically capable of performing all required tasks of a labourer
- Valid Drivers License
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20 / WHMIS 2015
- Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
- Ability to do careful and exacting work.
- Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to client site.
- Previous experience: Labourer, general labour, laborer, construction, warehouse, general labourer, construction labourer, oilfield, journeyman
