Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bakery Cafe Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional food service and customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, restaurant management, and team leadership within the food industry. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Bakery Cafe Supervisor will play a key role in upholding our commitment to quality, hospitality, and efficient service.
Duties
- Supervise daily bakery cafe operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure high-quality standards.
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Square POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff members to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of bakery ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.

- Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant management or hospitality roles, preferably within the food industry or bakery setting.
- Supervising experience with strong leadership skills in team management and staff development.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally.
- Background in food handling, restaurant experience, or kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Hospitality or hotel experience as well as barista experience are considered assets but are not mandatory.
- Food Safety Handling Certification
- Physically capable of standing for long hours and lifting over 25KG
