Position Overview
This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career to gain hands-on experience in administration, customer service, dispatch coordination, and sales support. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations while also helping build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Answer and direct incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
· Assist with scheduling, dispatching, and tracking shipments
· Maintain accurate records of loads
· Communicate with drivers, carriers, and clients to ensure timely deliveries
· Professional and thorough onboarding of new carriers.
· Compile and send the daily load list
· Continual update of vendors and customers in the CRM database.
· Provide administrative and sales support to senior brokers
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with clients
· Interest in sales, logistics, or account management
· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
· Highly organized with attention to detail
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Positive attitude, self-motivation, and willingness to learn
