Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and possess the skills necessary to support seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. This role involves working closely with clients to promote independence, safety, and well-being in a home or care facility setting. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately and as prescribed, following all safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with appointment scheduling and transportation as needed
- Follow care plans diligently and document care provided in compliance with agency policies
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and empathy
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as required
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for transportation duties but not mandatory

Pay: $17.92-$22.96 per hour
