South Thompson Inn & Events Centre is looking for a reliable and hard-working Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping guest rooms and common areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Duties will include cleaning guest rooms, making beds, restocking supplies, cleaning bathrooms, assisting with laundry, folding linens, and helping maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the property.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable being on their feet during a busy shift. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning and preparing guest rooms
Changing linens and making beds
Cleaning bathrooms and common areas
Restocking towels, amenities, and supplies
Washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry
Reporting maintenance issues or damaged items
Working as part of a team to ensure a great guest experience
Requirements:
Vehicle to get to and from the Inn
Reliable and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Previous hotel housekeeping experience is an asset
