Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable drywall Laborer/Helper to join our construction team. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople in various construction-related tasks, supporting project completion, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have some experience or interest in construction, carpentry, or handyman work, and possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Responsibilities
- Assist with construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and other general labor tasks on-site
- Support skilled workers by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans under supervision
- Perform basic handyman tasks as needed, including minor repairs and maintenance
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing supplies, and setting up necessary equipment
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members
- Support project timelines by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction painting, carpentry, caulking, or handyman work is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to job sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
Pay: $17.85-$30.34 per hour
