As a Kids Summer Fitness Camp Coach, you will be responsible for leading structured fitness sessions, games, and activities that keep kids moving, learning, and having fun. You’ll help create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment while teaching kids the fundamentals of movement, coordination, and athletic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise children in structured fitness activities, games, and sports.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and a love for physical activity.
- Assist in camp setup, daily planning, and clean-up.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Act as a role model for campers by promoting fitness, discipline, and respect.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working with children in a camp, sports, or coaching setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Background in fitness, sports, or recreation.
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before the start date).
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
