Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining an organized and inviting retail environment at our pet boutique. The ideal candidate will have strong and clear communication skills, a passion for retail sales and pets, and experience with merchandising and cashiering. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your sales and customer service skills while supporting our store operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and securely
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Provide product knowledge related tothe pet boutique and it's products
- Assist customers with inquiries about e-commerce options and online orders
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization
- Ensure the retail area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Willing to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, and customer service best practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with e-commerce platforms can be helpful but is not mandator

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
