JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Marketing, Partnerships & Client Experience Coordinator
Organization: Smart Performance
Location: Calgary, AB (in person)
Employment type: 30-37.5 hours per week.
Reports to: Alex Ogbongbemiga
Compensation: $24 to $27 per hour based on experience.
ROLE PURPOSE
To grow demand for the clinic's physiotherapy, massage, and fitness services, deepen relationships with existing clients, and build the business's presence in the community. This is a hands-on, build-and-grow role suited to a coachable self-starter who is strong with people. The Coordinator executes day-to-day marketing under the direction and quality review of the clinic's marketing advisor and business owner, and is expected to take on more ownership of marketing as they develop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing (40%)
- Plan, schedule, and publish social media content across the clinic's channels using latest trends and premium footage
- Create simple content (graphics, captions, short video clips) from the clinic's own photos and footage.
- Produce and send monthly client emails and re-booking campaigns.
- Make basic website updates and support search (SEO) tasks, with direction and review from the marketing advisor.
- Help set up, launch, and monitor paid ad campaigns.
- Maintain a content calendar and keep marketing assets organized.
-Create brochures, business cards, posters, etc in Canva that are on brand
Partnerships and business development (about 30%)
- Identify and reach out to potential local partners (family doctors, chiropractors, gyms, sports clubs, run groups, community organizations).
-Identify tradeshows, or other community outreach initiatives and track them in Go High Level
-Ensure brand items for tradeshows are ordered, on brand, and ready for tradeshows
- Attend community events and represent the clinic in person.
- Ensure all leads are tracked in High Level and are marked with the stages and person responsible
Client experience and customer service (about 30%)
- Act as a friendly first point of contact for enquiries by phone, email, and social media.
-Create custom email workflows for different programs to encourage re-booking, and community engagement
- Follow up on bookings and re-bookings to keep the schedule full.
- Request and collect reviews and testimonials from satisfied clients.
- Help ensure a consistent, positive experience across every client touchpoint.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in meeting and building relationships with people in person.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Clear, friendly, accurate written communication.
- Comfort learning new digital tools and software.
- A genuine interest in marketing and a willingness to be coached.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently in person at the clinic.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Some marketing, social media, customer service, or community or events experience.
- Familiarity with tools such as Go High Level, Canva, or social media schedulers.
- Post-secondary coursework in marketing, communications, or business is an asset but not required.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 30 days
- Learns the business, services, tools, and brand voice.
- Takes over the social posting schedule and monthly client email.
- Begins responding to enquiries and booking follow-ups.
First 60 days
- Runs a consistent content calendar with light review.
- Starts partner outreach and attends a first community event.
- Owns day-to-day client communications.
First 90 days
- Manages most marketing execution independently, with strategy and quality oversight from the advisor.
- Has built an initial set of local partner and referral relationships.
- Is contributing to measurable goals (new bookings, reactivated clients, leads, reviews).
GROWTH PATH
This role is designed to grow. As the Coordinator develops their skills and judgment, they can take on broader ownership of the clinic's marketing and partnerships over time.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
