Front Desk Administrator

Dental Edge Burlington is currently looking for a motivated, professional, and patient centered Front Desk administrator(must have worked in dental view before) to join our growing team in Burlington.
As the first point of contact within the clinic, the front desk plays a critical role in shaping each patient’s experience. We are seeking an individual who is personable, highly organized, and capable of managing a fast paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be confident in handling patient communication, appointment coordination, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities within a modern dental setting. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask efficiently are essential.
Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in Canada / Must have relevant Canadian experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a dental reception or front desk role
- Experience using dental practice management software is required
- Experience with Akitu One is considered a strong asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and appointment inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments while maintaining an efficient daily flow
- Coordinate patient charts, documentation, and administrative records
- Process payments and assist with patient billing inquiries
- Support insurance coordination and related administrative tasks
- Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Assist with overall day to day operations of the clinic
