As the Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing all activities in our warehouse facility. Which often involves overseeing team performance, hands-on participation and oversight of receiving, put-away, fulfillment, shipping of goods, and logistics; ensuring quality standards are met, and that our facility is well organized, neat and safe. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of the warehouse operations from end-to-end.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Ø Supervise, organize, and direct warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction (Internal and External customers).
Ø Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics coordination, and order fulfillment.
Ø Support logistics activities such as booking carriers, coordinating freight, and preparing shipping documentation.
Ø Plan and optimize workflow, staffing, space utilization, and equipment layout to meet productivity, quality, and service standards.
Ø Manage inventory processes, including stock rotation, cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and annual physical inventory.
Ø Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders within established cost and service levels.
Ø Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy in counts, documentation, and coding.
Ø Prepare and process shipping documentation (e.g., packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices) in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Ø Coordinate delivery schedules based on warehouse capacity and inventory availability.
Ø Maintain a safe, clean, neat, organized, and compliant warehouse environment in accordance with OHSA and company policies.
Ø Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and machinery, and oversee maintenance as required.
Ø Establish and maintain warehouse procedures, systems, and best practices for product handling, storage, and shipping.
Ø Develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
Ø Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the warehouse floor to support staff and resolve issues in real time.
Ø Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
Position Requirements:
Ø Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
Ø Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
Ø Ability to operate a forklift effectively
Ø Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ø Demonstrates leadership and people management skills including the ability to effectively coach and mentor employees at all levels
Ø Ability to drive continuous improvement, provide accurate reporting, and utilize data
Ø Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines
Ø Ability to identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiencies.
Ø Experience working with an ERP or WMS - Net Suite is an asset.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Ø High school diploma or equivalent. College or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Ø 3 years supervisory experience in a warehouse required; supervised 2-3 people.
Ø Valid forklift certification required.
Ø Familiarity using a Warehouse Management System preferred.
Ø Ability to multi-task and detail oriented.
Ø Proactive and takes initiative.
Ø Able to successfully meet KPIs and improve cost efficiency.
