Position Summary
This role is intended for a highly autonomous Custom Cabinet Maker. The successful candidate must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, managing their workload, and making sound technical decisions throughout the fabrication process. This is not an entry-level position and requires strong experience, confidence, and accountability for quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manufacture custom cabinets and millwork from shop drawings and specifications
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, from material preparation through final fabrication
- Work autonomously with laminate, veneer, solid wood, glass, and metal insertions
- Read, interpret, and execute shop drawings without constant oversight
- Maintain consistently high standards of quality, precision, and finish
- Manage time and workflow efficiently to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment
- Identify problems and implement solutions independently before escalating when necessary
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready
Required Qualifications
- Strong, proven experience in custom cabinet making
- Demonstrated ability to work fully independently and autonomously
- Excellent understanding of cabinet construction methods and materials
- High level of personal accountability for quality, safety, and output
- Detail-oriented with a strong craftsmanship mindset
- Production-oriented and comfortable working without micromanagement
- Ability to adapt to a growing company and evolving processes
- Ability to support or mentor less experienced team members

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
