Duties
- Officiate games by enforcing rules and regulations consistently and fairly
- Make quick, accurate decisions on plays, calls, and infractions during the game
- Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and officials regarding rulings and game procedures
- Maintain focus and composure in high-pressure situations to ensure smooth gameplay
- Monitor player conduct to uphold sportsmanship standards
- Record game statistics or incidents as required by league or event organizers
- Collaborate with other officials to coordinate game flow and resolve disputes professionally
- Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent injuries or unsafe conditions during play

- Strong knowledge of the sport’s rules, regulations, and gameplay mechanics
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills under pressure
- Effective communication skills for interacting with players, coaches, spectators, and fellow officials
- Ability to remain impartial, objective, and professional at all times
- Physical stamina and agility to keep up with fast-paced action on the field or court
- Attention to detail in observing plays and infractions accurately
- Prior experience as an umpire or referee is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
