Seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team. Experience with New Home Excavation/Backfill/Grading is an asset.
Typical work days of 8-10 hrs Mon.-Fri. Weekends as needed.
Raecor Contracting Ltd was established in 2015.
We are a small Calgary based company who's primary work focus is residential/ commercial excavation and minor demolition services. This position requires someone to be versatile and comfortable working on different projects/scopes.
* You must have experience with reading and interpreting drawings and also using a laser/transit.
* You must have your own reliable transportation as work sites are not always on bus routes. A clean driving record will be required for operating company trucks.
* A Vehicle Allowance would be considered for candidates with the appropriate vehicle and coverage.
Applicants must be physically fit with a very strong work ethic.
Tasks include but not limited to:
- Excavation/Demolition
- Backfill/Grading
- Sod/Loam Installation
- Tree/Plant Installation
- Retaining Wall Construction
- Labor tasks when required
**Our storage yard is located in the SE.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 – 55.0 per week
Experience:
- Excavator and Skidsteer: 10 years (required)
- Landscape Construction: 5 years (preferred)
- New Construction Residential Backfill/Grading : 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 3 Licence (preferred)
