Dr. Boro Janicijevic & Associates Dental Health Centre is a well-established, patient-focused dental practice committed to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and team-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to expand their knowledge of all aspects of dentistry. While hygiene will be your primary role, you will also receive training and experience in clinical assisting, reception, and other key areas of the practice when hygiene appointments are lighter. We believe cross-training creates stronger teams and provides valuable career development.
Schedule
Our office hours are:
· Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
· Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
· Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
· Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
· Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Summer Hours
· Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
· Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a mixed weekly schedule based on the practice’s hygiene needs.
Responsibilities
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will:
· Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments.
· Provide preventive and therapeutic periodontal care, including scaling and root planing.
· Take digital radiographs.
· Maintain complete and accurate clinical records.
· Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
· Collaborate with the dentists to support individualized treatment plans.
· Deliver exceptional patient care with professionalism and compassion.
During non-hygiene hours, you will also:
· Assist chairside with clinical procedures.
· Support the front reception team with scheduling and patient communication.
· Help with sterilization and clinical organization as needed.
· Learn the day-to-day operations of a successful dental practice.
Qualifications
Required:
· Current registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
· Current professional liability insurance (CDHA or ODHA)
· Diploma in Dental Hygiene
· Current CPR certification
Preferred Skills:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
· Previous dental office experience is an asset but new graduates are welcome to apply
· Knowledge of Abedent

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
