What is the Opportunity?
As the Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for marking up all new claims received within the department in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary, digital environment. You will also participate in projects within the department as required. You will work in a dynamic claims environment with exposure across multiple lines of business.
What will you do?

Own the accuracy and quality of new claims markup which includes verifying coverage and identifying common claimants within the established SLA:

Lines of business include ID, STD, LTD, Waivers, Secured Client, Incomplete Claims, Life and Specialty claim mark-up

Precisely code data in multiple systems and data bases within service standards

Accurately process special handling of Large Case Groups within established SLA and follow exceptions and instructions

Responsible for vetting, processing, investigating and/or setting tasks for all new mail in the Intake Mailbox within established SLA

Follow the Anti Money Laundering process

Contribute to initiatives and team projects as opportunities arise
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
-
1 -2 years administration experience or equivalent transferable experience preferably in the financial or insurance industry

Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities
-
Proven confidentiality skills in dealing with sensitive information

Experience with Microsoft applications
Nice-to-have

Bilingual (English and French)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$46,000.00 - $70,000.00
The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
