Elite Promotional Marketing is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Printer and Heat Press Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating Direct to Film (DTF) printing equipment and heat press machines to produce high-quality custom apparel and branded products.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, and has strong attention to detail. Experience with apparel decoration, printing, heat pressing, warehouse, or production work is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Operate DTF printers and heat press machines to produce high-quality printed transfers and apply designs onto various apparel and substrates.
- Manage the printer software/program to organize, prepare, and send artwork files for printing.
- Monitor printer and heat press performance, troubleshoot basic issues, and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Prepare materials, garments, and substrates for printing and pressing, including loading and unloading items.
- Follow detailed work instructions and quality control procedures throughout the printing and pressing process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with apparel decoration, DTF printing, heat pressing, warehouse, or production work is an asset.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn printer software/programs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A graphic art background is valuable.
Additional Job Details:
- Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Must be able to work overtime if required.
