Flooring Installer
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour
Location: Metro Vancouver, BC (Richmond crew meeting point)
Metro Vancouver flooring contractor is seeking a reliable Flooring Installer with at least one year of solid flooring installation experience in laminate, vinyl plank, engineered flooring, baseboard, or similar systems.
The successful candidate should be capable of completing basic flooring installations with limited supervision while also working effectively as part of an installation crew under a lead installer.

Work Environment
Work alongside experienced lead installers and foremen specializing in complex flooring installations, stair installations, sheet vinyl flooring installations, concrete finishes, tile work, and advanced floor preparation. This provides an opportunity to further develop your installation skills while working on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Tools and Equipment
All professional installation tools are provided and managed by the company to maintain consistency and organization on job sites. Installers should not bring personal installation tools.
Crew Transportation
Our lead installers operates company vans departing from Richmond each morning. Applicants living nearby may ride with the crew to job sites. Otherwise, applicants must have reliable transportation to job sites or to the Richmond meeting point.
Out-of-Town Work
Occasionally, projects may require out-of-town work. Employees must be willing to travel when required.
For out-of-town projects, the company will cover transportation, hotel accommodation, and provide a food allowance.
Requirements
- At least one year of solid flooring installation experience (laminate, vinyl plank, engineered flooring, baseboard, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of floor preparation and installation methods
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to work overtime and weekends when required
- Willing to work out of town when required
- Steel-toed work boots required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and open work permit holders welcome
- LMIA sponsorship is not available for this position
- Valid driver’s license strongly preferred
