Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is skilled, reliable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Experience in restoration, renovations, and residential construction is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry, framing, finishing, and repairs
- Install drywall, flooring, doors, trim, cabinets, and other building components
- Complete restoration and reconstruction projects following water, fire, or other property damage
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members
- Ensure all work meets company standards and building codes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
- Restoration industry experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Valid BC Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various physical conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
