Inside Sales Representative
Ketchum Manufacturing is looking for a dynamic salesperson to grow our business. The qualified candidate will work full-time Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm at the Brockville, Ontario location.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding customers’ needs and developing accounts
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, and preparing quotations
- Maintain customer files in the CRM
- Understand the sales and manufacturing processes of the product line
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes
- Promote products using various marketing methods
- Continuously source opportunities to increase sales and meet or exceed sales targets
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identify sales opportunities
- Weekly tracking of sales for reports submitted to management
- Maintain diligence with call planning, reporting and follow-ups to ensure current and future sales opportunities
- Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
- Work effectively with other members of the team
- Manage time effectively and strive to exceed goals
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset
- Previous sales experience necessary
- Agricultural experience would be considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a capacity to influence sales
- Ability to develop strong business relationships
- Good computer skills, comfortable with word, excel, outlook and CRM systems
- Write emails and sales documents in a professional manner
