Responsibilities
- Set-up and operate 3 and 4 axis horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers
- Knowledge in use of vises, indicators, gauges, sine plates and palletized work holding systems
- Knowledge in setting up cutting tools and tool changing equipment
- Load and modify machining programs as required
- Adjust feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency
- Check dimensional accuracy of work pieces
- Operate machinery with all safety precautions in place
Qualifications
- Ability to perform complete set-ups and basic CNC programming/editing
- Knowledge in Power Mill software is a plus, but not required
- 5+ years’ experience preferred
