Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that windows are cleaned to the highest standards, enhancing the appearance of commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of windows using hand tools and power tools to achieve a streak-free finish.
- Utilize proper techniques for cleaning high-rise buildings and hard-to-reach areas safely.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within scheduled time frames while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in general facilities maintenance as needed, including custodial duties and heavy lifting when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- 5 years' living in Canada in order to pass a federal security clearance (preferred)
- Willing to work from heights (15-20 storey average)
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in window cleaning is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, ensuring physical fitness for the demands of the job.
- A commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- MB Driver's license
