Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Labourer / Equipment Operator for a one-month contract to assist with improvements and cleanup at our new shop. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating equipment, working outdoors, and taking on a variety of physical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently.
- Tow and maneuver a dump trailer.
- Remove trees, brush, and other vegetation.
- Yard grading and site cleanup.
- Clean and organize the interior and exterior of the new shop.
- Load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform general labour and property maintenance.
- Complete other tasks as assigned to help prepare the property.
Qualifications
- Experience operating a skid steer is required.
- Comfortable towing trailers.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety conscious.
- Experience with chainsaws, landscaping equipment, or light construction is an asset.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime may be available depending on project requirements.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
