Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our tight knit team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and promoting our products in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for clothing and styling people. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales skills and gain retail experience while working in Muskoka!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs and style preferences
- Provide knowledgeable advice on building outfits
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately, including cash handling and POS operations
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store is tidy and inviting
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising tasks
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective and pleasant communication
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers during busy periods
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong organizational skills, basic math skills, and familiarity with cashiering systems (POS) are beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation are essential
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment is required

Pay: $17.94-$22.58 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
