We are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our manufacturing team that serves globally and located in Cambridge, ON.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods domestically and internationally. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant transportation of materials and finished products while supporting day-to-day logistics operations and working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and freight partners.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with production department daily for goods being released to shipping department.
- Prepare all required documents, packing slips, custom documents, BOL, shipping labels, any additional documents or labeling required and final invoicing to customer.
- Quote freight and schedule carrier (North America and Global).
- Close jobs in ERP system when shipped.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
- Demonstrated experience with global shipping, including international freight, customs documentation, and Incoterms
- Strong understanding of import/export regulations and international trade compliance
- Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Knowledge of ASME, ISO, or regulated shipping environments
- CPIM, CSCP, or other supply chain certification (an asset)
