POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
This role oversees all plant activities, including Production, Shipping/Receiving, and Inventory, while driving operational excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement.
The Plant Manager ensures alignment between operations and business objectives, delivering results across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plant Operations Leadership
- Lead and manage all plant operations and daily activities
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency and output
- Ensure proper resource allocation and workflow
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, develop, and manage supervisors and operational teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and performance
- Ensure clear expectations and consistent follow-up
- Address performance issues and reinforce standards
Operational Excellence
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and best practices
- Identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
- Improve processes, productivity, and cost control
Quality & Compliance
- Promote a strong quality culture across the plant
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
- Support QA/QC initiatives and defect reduction
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
KPI & Performance Management
- Define, track, and analyze key operational KPIs
- Use data to drive decisions and improvements
- Ensure visibility and accountability across teams
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Quality
- Ensure alignment between production and project requirements
- Support capacity planning and operational strategy
Systems & Tools
- Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems
- Maintain structured operational processes and reporting
- Support implementation of tools and systems to improve performance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
OR equivalent experience
- 10+ years in manufacturing
- 5+ years in leadership role
- Strong understanding of:
- Manufacturing processes
- Production flow
- Lean principles
- Experience managing: KPI's, Teams, Operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment
