LTL Contracting is looking to hire a Site Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate day to day project operations and field staff
- Plan and schedule work with operations for available resources to meet client needs
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, standards and specifications
- Track and submit quantities for invoicing
- Proactively communicate and coordinate daily/as needed with GC/owner staff, suppliers and engineering re: scope of work, equipment needed to complete jobs and problem solve
- Trouble shoot field issues on-site to maintain workflow and meet deliverables
- Ensure sufficient data obtained and documented through life of the contract to substantiate contractor's progress and final payment certificates
- Obtain and maintain up to date and accurate utility locates
- Prepare job sheets for field staff
- Other duties as assigned by your senior manager
Qualifications
- 5-10 years progressive experience in the heavy civil construction industry
- Previous supervisory experience
- Must be able to work independently and in a team
- Must have strong communication, time management, scheduling and negotiation skills
- Able to multi task and sustain productivity over long hours in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Candidates must be open to working as per project requirements (weekends etc) and out of town when required
